Research Sites and Laboratories

The West Central Research, Extension and Education Center utilizes many research locations and laboratories to conduct innovative research that will strengthen the future of the agriculture industry. The research locations include the West Central Research, Extension and Education Center, the Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory, the Henry J. Stumpf International Wheat Center, and the West Central Water Resources Field Laboratory. The location of the West Central Research, Extension and Education Center houses the Agroecosystems Entomology Lab, the Irrigation Water Management Lab, the Pesticide Application Technology Lab and the Cropping Systems Research Lab. With the variety of research and specialists, West Central is able to conduct research that is applicable across many areas.
