Tree workshop to include demonstrations

  • Oct. 21 -- North Platte, Public Service Building
  • Oct. 22 -- Lexington Dawson County Fairgrounds Extension Office

Each workshop will begin at 12:30 p.m. with registration. After an hour of indoor presentations on root health and how to have healthy trees; participants will move outside to view and discuss root health issues and to identify stem girdling roots. By learning proper planting techniques and how to diagnosis root problems using an airspade, participants can have better trees in their parks and along their streets.

Each class is limited to 30 students, so interested parties should register now. Participation in this workshop is limited to green industry professionals, ReTree Ambassadors and municipal employees.
