Agricultural Entomology
West Central entomologists explore the control, biology and economics of insects affecting range and feedlot cattle.
The Integrated Pest Management program compares the different methods of managing crop pests, including insects and weeds, while providing educational instruction to ag producers.
The annual field scout training is one of the many workshops in this program. Personnel also work with local schools to increase the knowledge of insects to students.
Light trap data for 2009 will become available as it is collected.
